Thanksgiving 2020

With Halloween in the rearview mirror, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. The holidays should create memories, not chaos. Here’s a few tips and tricks we wanted to share with you in order to make Thanksgiving 2020 great!

Family and Friends

  • If possible, it is always best to spend the holidays with people you love! Get creative and send out invitations or just invite them over a nice phone call!

Don’t Do it By Yourself

  • In order for everyone to truly enjoy the day it is best that everyone plays a part. For example, you can ask every person to either bring a side dish or a dessert! With limited oven space, having other people provide any food can be a major relief!

Have a Schedule but Be Flexible

  • Not everything will go just as planned… and that is okay. Just be sure to do your research and figure out how long it will take for the food to cook, desserts to bake and people to arrive! At the end of the day, if people were together and memories were made it was success!

Clean Up Later

  • Most hosts do not even get to enjoy spending time with their loved ones because they are so focused on making sure the day went smoothly for everyone else. The dishes can wait until the crowd has headed back home. Make sure you make time to visit with the people you love the most.

At the end of the day there is no “perfect” way to do Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving 2020 looks a little bit different for everyone!

Alright, you have around 20 days to get prepared! Remember to make memories!
