Hi! My name is Lindsay and I began interning at Robbins Insurance Group in May 2020. My time has been filled with lots of learning and fun! This is my internship experience.

As a marketing intern, I schedule the social media posts for RIG. I also write blog posts and optimize them for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The world of marketing is constantly shifting and evolving— new social media platforms are gaining popularity all the time. There are always new things to learn about consumers!

One of my favorite things about Robbins Insurance Group is how much they love their community. They truly want to serve each person the best they can. I love how RIG spotlights other great businesses in the Branson area. After all, it isn’t possible to build community without supporting each other!

Since I am still a student at College of the Ozarks, I began working remotely when the semester started in August. Balancing school and an internship can be challenging at times, but the Robbins Group has been great to work with!

Interning is a great way to gain real world experience while still in school. The experiences you gain allow you to make connections with people in your desired field— who will likely help you out down the road. My internship experience has been a great opportunity to grow in my future field. It may seem scary to put yourself out there, but you will thank yourself later!
